Ways to Connect with your Alumnae
We are working hard to build the database of alumnae and to ensure that the information we have is accurate and current. We would love to hear your stories so we can feature them on the website or in the two annual editions of the College magazine, “The Oak”. Please send any contributions to Julie Kayes or to Therese Eddy. If you would like to be included on our database, please click on the "Update your details" link and fill in your details. Please also be sure to advise us of any changes to your details so that we do not lose contact with you. If you know of alumnae who are not receiving communications from us, please let us know their details.
Each year, we try to hold a few events aimed at fundraising to enable us to make our two annual awards to students of the College and, ultimately, to help us establish a bursary or scholarship. Please come along and support these events – and bring your friends too! If you have any donations you would like to make (e.g. raffle prizes) please contact one of the Alumnae executive.
The College would like to work with the Alumnae Association to build a network of mentors for current students or for young alumnae just starting out in their career. This could involve leading a session of “Meet the Alumnae, offering to mentor an individual or group of students or acting as a guest speaker at a formal dinner or other event. If you are interested in helping, please let us know.
We can all benefit from developing the connections we established whilst at Duchesne and hope to build the networking opportunities offered by the Alumnae Association. Please let us have your ideas.
