Meet the Head of College and CEO
Thérèse Eddy (née Terry Comerford) was born and raised in Dalby and Goondiwindi in south west Queensland and is the eldest daughter of eight children. She attended boarding school in Toowoomba at St Ursula’s and Downlands and then completed Year 12 at Goondiwindi State High School. Her undergraduate studies (BA and Dip Ed) were undertaken at The University of New England in Armidale, NSW, where she lived at Mary White College for four years. She then went on to teach, firstly at Goondiwindi High and then in schools in Armidale, London, Sydney and Brisbane. Her background has meant she has remained passionate about education and in particular authentic leadership and transitioning from secondary to higher education. She completed a Master in Education (Leadership and Management) at the Queensland University of Technology in 2014 and was subsequently employed in the QUT Faculty of Education.
