DUCHESNE COLLEGE – SOUS CHEF
We are currently seeking a full time chef or experienced cook. You will work with a great team and provide support to the head chef in the preparation/service of meals for 200 residents. We’re looking for a well-rounded professional with proven organisational skills and a focus on customer service. We are offering a great opportunity for a motivated individual who has a passion for cooking.

The preferred candidate will be able to provide leadership as required and have experience in ordering and stock control. The position offers above award wages, free onsite parking and no split shifts.

Skills and Attributes
To be successful for this role the applicant will possess the following:

• Excellent customer service skills with an enthusiastic attitude
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Hospitality/catering or similar qualification
• Have demonstrated food preparation/presentation skills
• Possess a sound understanding of food safety, OH&S and HACCP
• In possession of a Queensland Blue Card or eligible to apply
• Roster will require one fixed weekend day and a rotating roster of days and nights
