Make-Over for the Chapel and Joan Percy-Dove Library

The Chapel has a New Home

Our sincere thanks to Sr Kathleen Muirhead rscJ and Sr Rita Carroll rscJ for overseeing the delicate task of relocating the Chapel to its temporary home in the large Clare Foley Room opposite the Library.

The Chapel is now accessible to all as it is situated on the ground floor in the heart of the College. This will remain its temporary home pending finalisation of the strategic master-plan under consideration by the College Council.
New Rooms
The space previously occupied by the Chapel will be converted to eleven contemporary and spacious study bedrooms. This major accommodation project is due for completion before mid-year.

Joan Percy-Dove Library

After standing the test of time for 37 years the glorious brown shag-pile carpet in the Joan Percy-Dove Library will be replaced this week.  As part of the makeover, the Library will be refurbished to resemble a more functional, modern and comfortable “Learning Lounge” for the residents.

Secure your “piece” of history and support a good cause.
